Terms and Conditions for returns:
You are entitled to return your order within 7 days of the goods having been delivered to you for a refund or exchange provided the terms and conditions of our returns policy are met.
Once your return is received and inspected by Finding Whimsy, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.
Terms and conditions of our return policy:
- Products must be in their original packaging, original condition and unused.
- Custom orders: These products have been made to your specific requirements and therefore cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. This includes: custom designs, colours, prints, fabrics, sizes and products made up specifically for you. Should the product be defective or damaged upon receipt or if the product is not as per the order specification, then please notify us so that we can arrange a return and inspect the goods for a possible exchange.
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- If your refund is approved, you will receive a full refund within 7 days of the date of approval less shipping fees in both directions. Please note that this may differ from your original invoice as we offer a flat rate shipping on all sales and sometimes subsidise, discount or absorb additional costs.
- The approved return will be will be arranged by Finding Whimsy with our courier service so that we can insure products against damage in transit.
- Any products sent back to Finding Whimsy must be in suitable packaging for shipping so that goods are sent back to us in the same condition you received them in.
- Exchanges or refunds on goods can only be made once we have determined that there was a manufacturer defect or damage caused during transit. If it is found that the returned items are not defective or damaged the customer will be liable for all shipping costs.
- Goods damaged in transit will be replaced with the same or similar item at no charge, subject to stock availability.
- Any flat pack items can only be returned if they have not been assembled or removed from the original packaging.
- Gift cards and sale items are not eligible for returns or refunds.
Please ensure that when your order is delivered to you that you inspect the parcel before signing for it. You can record any damages upon delivery on the waybill. Should there be a defect or missing items please make Finding Whimsy aware of this within 24 hours via email and with photographic evidence to substantiate your claim.
Finding Whimsy cannot take responsibility for products that have been assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, cleaned with incorrect cleaning materials or altered in any way.
Finding Whimsy cannot be held liable for faulty goods shipping directly from suppliers. Please do not send your purchase back to the supplier / manufacturer, we will facilitate the possible return, exchange or refund.
